As you can see it has been made using the same stop motion technique [see appendix], as for first animation, by thinking it will gane me more expierence and better understanding. This time it went much smoother and quicker, as I avoid the same mistakes and descover some more useful tools. e.g. for cutting bit of the picture it's much faster and simpler with magnetic lasso tool instead of magic wind (that i used for first animation).
It was quite useful,constantly check how the animation visually looks on image ready and if it needs any changing before getting to far,while making a background in Photoshop,

The object is moved by very small amounts between individual frames, producing the effect of motion when the film is played back, as in conventional drawn and painted animation.

Some of the people mentioned that artistic style of my animations looks simillar to late ones MTV stings. I have tried to look for some example, but wasn't succssesful.It would be quite interesting to find it and to compare it.
Simon mentioned that i should try to work with the music and try to expand E4 music logo at the end of animation, to add stronger accent for it an the music. ( it means more work for me)
So finally considering my tinny expierence as a I‘ve gave up on all my "titanic" ideas and came up with the one described bellow in the " Goodies bag" That I liked , most of the people I asked liked it, hope the rest of the world will like it too:) Hope i managed to embody it.
I've never took so many pictures of the hands in my entire life.
Was much harder than I thought. As to perform 24 frame action per 1sec using photo camera was impossible. Finally 12 f/sec was a solution. So Big Thank you for Ian Sandershelp in taking pic. and Andrew Love for amazing 10 MEGA PIXEL camera- yahooo!!! Even I took a mln of pictures for my animation (as I never was satisfied with a ones i took before), i left only with 72, (12f/s). So i had a real good practise using this fantastic camera:) Sure later I found out I could go easier way, just film the opening hands action and import it in Adobe after Effects as stills, remove the ones i don't need to create the "chop" effect on animation to make it look more abstract and surreal. Well, we all learning, finally I still got the same effect .
It's a firstshort testof the idea. The music has been made myself on Ejay dance 3. I like the effect of calm "growing" atmosphere on it, but i'm not sure if it's a right one to use. So I'm gonna get some more versions of Ejay, hopefully it will have more options of the sounds I could use to create the right tone.
Ok, here is an animation made . The process:
Imported all the pictures into Photoshop and resize to 720x576, cut the bits of every single picture I don't want to be seen.
Imported into Adobe Premier Pro and make a avi. movie
I had to change the background as I didn't have the copyrights for rose image. I'm not really good in drawing so I just played around with it in the photoshop, using different effects.Finally I stoped with a liquify effect as Ifound it easy to play around and, also I could changed it every frame so than playing back it looked like it's moving. Hopefully it is still possible get the idea that's it a flower. The colours are related to the main color at the E4 channel at the moment -purple, also made it look more retro style. The communication between animation and audience is quite clear, as it send various messages:giving (then e4 releases from a hands), keeping,teasing...
Trying diferent effects for background:
The shorter version of animation was made for idea of using it for more expensier time of the day and longer version for cheaper time of day on tv, in terms of saving money.
Problems:
I haven't saved single pictures as layers (psd.files) after working with them. So it was impossible to go back and correct it if i have to.
The first "test" animation I made using flash and i found out that it's really takes much longer time than using premier.
After importing stills in Premier, the animation would be very long ( 4min ), so it took me long time to learn that i had to export it as a movie than change a duration speed and render it again. Don't know if it was a correct solution, but it did work for me.
Just wanted to upload some pictures, that have been made before Xmas. ohhh...xmas - was lovely ..but sweet spring is so close - so stay all happy, smile LOADS and LOVE :D
I really enjoyed the expierence of taking pictures with a bear can - it was such a discovery for me, great stuff, after i did some bets to my friends saying them i can make a picture with a bear can - lol!!!Their reaction was amazing. Considering the lack of knowledge in given project, all seemed so new and confusing; research was a “life-saver” in this situation. It helped to gain better understanding and feel more comfortable with the start of the project. To make it easier the research was breaking down in to parts:

The project include:all information ,menu stings, menus, promo endboards, and start and end of transmission stings.
Precursor's approach was to develop an E4 world,made of two spaces. The first space [ outside ] is a traditional environment kept for information. Dominated by the channel logo. The second space [ inside ] is white, it is a surreal and twisted anarchic place where anything goes and surrealism and juxtaposition are the rules.

Fantastic Walk with course mates and beautiful day - the best part in the perfomances day. The most memorables were only two:
Harolds Shipmen's (the bigest serial killer) perfomance, if I can call it this name, as really it was more about a "short walk" through H.Shipmens life. The jorney started at uni, ( we did not know where we goin-that made it even more interesting)on the way we had to find and read a little notes with the facts of doctor's life. The end of distination was the collage ( can't remember the name) the H.Shipman was studying. Simple and ejoyable.
Erasmus Darwin - a physician, well known as a poet. The perfomance I enjoyed most. Firs the location they chose was amazing (the pub near the river), very realxing, inspiring atmoshpehre. At live presentation I saw a videos taken on location at Darwin house aslo they had a pictures from museam. The fanniest part was a bingo game, with key dates of Darwin’s life as bingo numbers. It was effective- interesting-funny and i really think guys done a good job.P.S As always, Jools the only lucky - he took the prize.
Dr. Harold Shipman(Freddy) -->The doctor of life death. One of the “greatest” murderer the world has ever known. Nearly 400 hundred murders… • Task To make a documentary with live performance based on research and location that relates in some ways to that person. • Evolution While researching doctor’s biography, his life style, the idea was to find the answer why he became the Doctor of death not life. The reason why he killed it’s difficult to discover as his killing style was different of usual serial killers, who like to toy with their victims. There were no signs of violence of Harold's victims; they all seem died peacefully and at home (safe surroundings). One of the thoughts was that he was re-creating his mother’s death scene (he was very close to her)as she was suffering of cancer and doctor injected her withmorphie on her death day (the same method Harold used to kill most of his victims). All of his victims most was older women, maybe he killed them as he did not wanted them to suffer the same pain as his mother did.There are so many thougts of why he start killing. We've decided to make a performance in old people house. (As all of his victims were older people)We planned to set up a live discussion show. Through discussions trying to find answers to these questions: how did this prolific serial killer go undetected for so long? Who made him monster he became? Also projecting images realted to Harold’s life and the places he spent most of his time during the show. Unfortunately, as our team didn’t play well, we had to cancel our plans. Well some evidence points towards his mother being the cause, she slowly perished from lung cancer in front of his eyes, she only found relief when the doctor administered morphine. He probably tried to recreate this point in his life as all his victims where overdosed with the same drug.

To understand the killer I think we should look towards his childhood.
Mr Morgan
From what I can tell about him by reviewing his reports, He was born in this very city, Nottingham. *He was a loner and his teachers reported that he was not into being part of a team but excelled on the football field which was strange. He did not have many friends...*

Reports indicate however that he began to open up more in medical school, maybe due to the fact he had to live away from home. He met his wife, Primrose and soon where married. He then joined a clinic in Yorkshire.

Actually yes, they said his attitude was a little odd. He seemed to look down on his peers. But the main thing was when one doctor found strange entries in his prescription orders.

..Yes I remember reading about that, apparently he was writing out prescriptions in patience names and conveniently ‘picking’ them up and delivering them. The drug was called ‘Pethadine’ a morphine-like analgesic. He was challenged on this subject by his fellow doctors and later expelled from the practice.

But did‘nt he own his own practice later after a quick rehabilitation period?
Paul
Yes, Strangly enough he did. * Thats when it is believed he started his 23 year rampage * (Needs confirming via reasearch)

Wow, So how did he go undetected for so long?
Mr Morgan
Well, people tent to trust their doctors and none of the victims died in a violent fashion, also * Harold Shipman was always on the scene to pronounce death* he also wrote the final reports and ‘doctored’ them to cover it up.

So how he was eventually found out?
Paul
I believe it had something to do with a will, he had made a poor forgery and was caught out. It was as if he wanted to be stopped in the end. This is a common case with some serial killers; they feel invincible or just have a subconscious desire to be caught. He was a doctor; he could have used something untraceable instead of Morphine.
Mr Morgan
His computer was seized and his medical files on closer inspection had been changed to cover up his deeds, he mainly added afflictions to his patients that where completely untrue as family members testified. But in the end Justice was served.

As always Jools had prepared us another surprise, this time we had 45 minutes to create a 30 sec PowerPoint presentation, that consists a series of images. The aim is that the presentation tells the story and should not need any verbal accompaniment from the team who have created the presentation. It was a life and death task..… The following scheme suppose us to help:
Collate - Correct - Divide - Decide Collate- Gathering the original source material. Forming some sort of administrative order.
Correct- amending the original material in some way that makes it relevant to the desired purpose.
Divide- ruthlessly eliminate any original or amended source material that will no longer fit the purpose.
Decide- Shape the material that made the cut so that this material will be affect the intended audience .
To make it faster we saved loads of images on desktop and later chose the best ones to create a our story. After we finished, I understood how important is always to check your projects on the machine it's gonna be presented and make sure it does work the same way as on yours. Because after we delivered to Jools and he put it on his computer it didn't work the same anda lott of effects were missing:( So at the end me and Ian didn't survive! Well, most of us "died" I try to apload the presentation we have done into this journal..if I be succsessful.

As you can see it's a short abit weird video reply.. I wasn't feeling very happy ...because of this I didn't want to speak on a camera...and really I haven't enjoy it at all, while I was working with it ..I think it was just an impact of my mood that day... I was thinking I will remake it ,but the next day it made me laugh, so I kept it...even I still think it's silly! It's hard to believe that i start making this video like 8pm and finished 12am, the original idea was diferent, but as i was struggling to embody it, I end up with this wierd Handizo type of thing... I thought i can easy make it, but i was so wrong, as i hardly used camera before I came with so many problems, beginning with basic problems like: switching the camera on, cheking the time, acting, turning the sound on, at last switching it off,,,if i only knew about Adobe Premier before and video editing I wouldn't have these problems,,, as using A.Premier you can edit videos after,,, So as purport of my video is not the best, I think this task was more useful of helping to understand the whole procedure! We had to wear a "real" archeologist coats, goggles and carry shovels for better effect. Part of the team were all given mobile phones and they went through events to take pictures of certain things; like people with body piercing,tattooss, glasses some other things that might not be exist in the future anymore. I've stayed at the base camp with Dominic and I was trying to learn working with apple computers as i never used it before. I found it quite easy to use and I really liked the design ( I want one now!!!) As others came back with some pictures, we uploadad them on to PC via Bluetooth.Because of mobile phone's cameras, quality of the pictures wasn't perfect, but I think guys really managed to get some nice ones.I've played with some image effects functions, brightening, contrasting and made images look even better. Set up pictures in order with PowerPoint for final presentation and job was done..sadly not many people saw it. Genuine talking, despite 6 hours of freez and spent long weekendand in bed with tea because of cold I got after, I still had a good experiencence and interesting time with my team and Dominic. I think it's interesting to work with him, he is very free person and like do things his own way, somehow getting a good results at the end.LOL
As this is the second month I live in Nottingham, there are only two places I spend the most of my time-University and My Home! Despite the fact I love it so much I've decided not to involve them in to this project.. This special "gift" I want to dedicate for my little spear time i spent in town center. LOL. There is a little pathway (between Victoria and broadmarsh center) where i go for shopping, walking, or just chilling…(it's the only space I know I won't lose;)..I enjoy it specially at evening time, because of shop's and house's lightening, the streets, people and places looks different than on day time. My idea is to make a playfull journey, there user follows "my pathway" and suddenly the day changes into night and back again (places might switch also). My aim is to confuse the viewer and make him smile than they realise they are in a wrong place.. I believe it will be quite problematic to take pictures on night time, but I hope with Help of PhotoShop I will create an effect I want ..
Last week I found this playful website, that I really like, because it gives you nice experience, and it's very easy to get around without having a screen full of menus. It's easy to go through artist works and it loodifferentent wioriginalnal music, exhibitions, galleries. I hope I can use some ideas of it on my own project too..

...I was sitting near my PC and thinking what objects has a value to me in terms of both fine and applied (design)...My eyes were "running" through the things in my room, suddenly it stopped to the folding fan i have hanged on the wall that I use time from time to cool down LOL..For some reason I keep staring at it and the memories come back from the past, as my friend and me used to play a princess with her grandmother's folding fans... isn't true, everytime you have a chance to hold a folding fan somehow you feeling different, a bit special (as a princess maybe:)), it feels like a history is touching you...??
It's hard to believe that fan history took back thousand of years..
Functionality .Personally i'm using fan for cooling and as my wall decoration. Also fan can be used as a ceremoniaentertainmentnt device, as a fashion accessory throughout the world from ancient times or a use for advertising.
Fans history,functionality, intimacy, general look, shape, patterns, meanincolorsurs it all speaks about it's Aesthetic Beauty.

Interactive Narrative project "My Place":I still haven't got good understanding about this project, but i have start do some research. Digital storytelling may be use for a wide variety of purpose ranging from business communication and presentation, to personal expression to interactive narrative. Narrative is interactive when the story contours to the user, based on his/her own personal preferences and input. Bellow is some examples of Interactive Narrative website.
